“Together, one mind, one life (one small step at a time), let’s see how many people (and lives) we can encourage, impact, empower, enrich, uplift and perhaps even inspire to reach their fullest potentials…and strive for and perhaps one sunny day even achieve their wildest dreams.”

The world cannot continue down the same road as it is at present…

War and Peace

The world cannot continue down the same road as it is at present. It is difficult to get accurate information about the amount that is spent world-wide each year on armaments. The most recent statistics that I could find were from 2006 when the figure was $1204 billion and we’re told that’s increasing by an estimated 3.5 per cent each year.
Now it doesn’t really matter whether these figures are the odd billion or so out, everyone will acknowledge that whatever the total, it is an obscene amount. Dwight Eisenhower said when he was President of the United States of America, “Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and not clothed.”

This right hand jet stream trailing

downwards, reminds me of a

“flaming arrow.”

Feathery feelings float

and flutter on a whole

different level.

This evokes thoughts

of how different two

people can be.

One was raised

Other protects his

heart while

deflecting

arrows of

Pain.

The song with same title

as the post written today is,

“Shot through the Heart”

came out in 1984.

The one I think of

and know the lyrics is called,

“You Give Love a Bad Name.”

This was related in lyrics by

repeating within chorus the line,

‘shot through the heart,’ (1986).

Both are Bon Jovi songs. Band

member, Richie Samboro

and Desmond Child

co-wrote 2nd song

with Bon Jovi.
